Gallons to Pounds is a free calculator maintained by one developer. No sign-in is needed, and the site currently has no advertising or analytics tools added by me. This page explains the information involved in using the converter and contacting me.

Inputs and results

Liquid conversions and batches are calculated inside your browser. The site does not send the quantities, liquid selections, densities, temperature choices, notes or batch entries to a server for calculation. If you copy, print or download a result, you control the resulting record and where you save or share it.

Saving a setup for another visit

The Remember my settings option uses local storage on your device. When enabled, it saves the conversion direction, selected liquid, amount, units, density and override, water-temperature choice, notes and batch entries in this browser for this website. There is no account-based syncing.

To remove that saved setup, turn off Remember my settings, choose Reset, or clear the site’s data using your browser’s controls. Files you downloaded and text copied into other applications are separate and must be removed there if you no longer want them. The calculator does not place analytics or advertising cookies.

Opening a page still makes a web request

The website is hosted on Cloudflare. Its delivery and security systems may process technical details such as an IP address, browser and device information, requested page, request time and security events. These requests are distinct from the calculation values that remain on your device. More information is available in Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

Information you send by email

If you write to contact@gallonstopounds.org, Cloudflare Email Routing forwards the message to a Gmail inbox. Cloudflare and Google may process sender details, names, addresses, message text, attachments and mail delivery data. Their own policies also apply, including Google’s privacy policy.

I use correspondence to answer questions, reproduce problems, improve the converter and address privacy requests. Avoid including sensitive information that is unnecessary for your question. Support mail is kept only as needed for those purposes and applicable obligations, with provider retention also governed by their policies.

Requests and policy revisions

Email contact@gallonstopounds.org to ask about information I hold or to request removal of your support correspondence. I cannot remotely remove settings held in your own browser; use the controls described above.

Links to density references and other external resources open independently operated websites. Check their policies when you visit them. If practices here change, I will revise this page and update the effective date.
