Gallons to Pounds

Terms for using the converter

Effective September 14, 2026

Gallons to Pounds is available free of charge. By using the website, you accept these terms. You are welcome to use the tool for everyday or work-related conversions and to save, print or share your results.

Understand what a result represents

The tool converts liquid volume and mass using a density. It relies on the quantities and units you choose. US liquid gallons and Imperial gallons are different measures; the US dry gallon is not included.

Preset values are references, not measurements of your sample. Composition and temperature can change a liquid’s density. Selectable water temperatures use the stated reference table; other liquids do not receive an automatic temperature correction. Verify the density and conditions against your actual product when accuracy matters.

A result describes the mass of the liquid or solution, excluding its container. It does not independently determine the mass of an ingredient, assess the safety of a substance or establish a shipping, storage or handling requirement.

Availability and accuracy

I work to make this a clear and accurate tool, but calculations, references and software can contain mistakes. The website is offered as is and when available. I cannot promise that it will always be accessible or suitable for every purpose.

Check important results against an appropriate measurement, product specification or qualified professional source. The converter does not replace professional advice or product instructions. Any exclusion of warranties applies only to the extent the law permits; your rights that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.

Fair use of the website

Do not use the site for unlawful activity, attempt to access protected systems, or interfere with the service through abusive or excessive automated traffic. References to outside organizations identify sources and do not imply a relationship or endorsement. Their materials remain subject to their own terms.

Updates and questions

I may improve, change or remove features and reference data. Changes to these terms will be posted here with an updated effective date and will govern subsequent use, rather than changing terms for earlier use.
